Today I am grateful for ... autumn

On the other side of the country it’s all looking a bit grim and chilly. But here in Perth, city of endless sunshine, it’s just about perfect. Cool nights, ideal for sleeping.** Crisp mornings hosting our wonderful long walks with two other playgroup mums and bubs. Adventures in local parks and playgrounds that don’t require lashings of sunscreen and wrestles with toddlers and their hats. Sun drenched afternoons. If this is global warming, then I have to say I’m enjoying it!

** At least that is the theory. Darling Little E, Mummy loves you. But she does not want your company at midnight.

I love Autumn too! Those crisp mornings and cool nights are wonderful after hot summer days that stretch on endlessly.

Wish we had a bit of that here in Melbourne right now. Instead the other day we had hail and lots of rain and a maximum temp of 12 degrees! Think I need a holiday somewhere warm. Hope you're having a lovely weekend. Great to find you via Maxabella....

Autumn is the best, isn't it? It's my favourite season. But alas, this year in Melbourne I blinked and appear to have missed it.

Enjoy your days!

Autumn in Perth this year is definitely lovely I agree! Perfect outdoor basking in the sunshine weather.

I luuurve autumn. It's up there with spring, methinks. Of course, Melbourne missed that memo and has moved straight to winter. And I'm not the teeniest bit bitter. Or not.

Glad you're enjoying the sunshine. From what I hear, the cool has been a welcomed relief in Perth.

xx

Your footnote made me chuckle. I hear ya, sister!

I miss Autumn. It kinda skipped straight to winter in our neck of the woods. Maybe we'll get it back... x

It was perfect today in Sydney, too! Great fun at the park and an early night for exhausted kids (I hope)
