Weekend Rewind's theme this week is new beginnings.
My first blog post was on my private blog but I replicated it in part in the "About Me and the Suburbs" page on this blog.

Linking over from Multiple Mum's blog...what a great story of your early marriage. My hubby and I were married almost 10 years before our twin girls were born, which is probably as far as I could get from how things transpired for you. It's always interesting to look around and think about how different things might have been had we taken a different road.
We managed to get pregnant during our engagement! I know. A maternity bride!!! Thanks for Rewinding. I am really glad it is working out for you as a Mum in the 'burbs! x
Big change - Law in the CBD to roses in the suburbs. We made the move from Perth to Margaret River around the time of our first son's birth and we have just found out that we are moving back to Perth! Another change to adapt to, but I guess we all learn when forced to deal with a new situation, don't we? And sometimes, the change is just what you needed

I'm very glad it isn't Gwen Harwood's vision, as much as I love that poem, I wouldn't want to be living it.
I wasn't a maternity bride - I waited until after my children were born to get married - both times!
Rewinding the Weekend to find you. Thank you for leading me to your posting. These babies! They seem to decide when they're coming, whether we are quite ready or not!
